Step by step
- Open the Haryana land records website, jamabandi.nic.in, and choose the Jamabandi (Nakal) option.
- Select the location: district (for example Fatehabad), tehsil, village and the jamabandi year.
- Search the record by owner name, khewat number, khatauni number or khasra (field) number.
- Read the result: it shows the owners, each owner's share, the khasra numbers and area, and the type of land.
- Check mutations: use the mutation (intkal) search on the same website to see recent transfers of that land.
What to look for before buying
- The seller's name and share match what they are offering to sell
- Every co-owner who must sign is identified
- No pending mutation or remark that suggests a dispute
- The khasra numbers and area match the field shown to you on site
